Brian Quintero is a Toronto-based actor and filmmaker of Costa Rican heritage, with appearances in Neagley (Amazon Prime), The Umbrella Academy (Netflix), Billy the Kid (MGM+), and the upcoming epic western The Abandons (Netflix) from Kurt Sutter, creator of Sons of Anarchy. He has won and been nominated for awards for the short Narcissistic and feature The Killgrin, and will appear in the upcoming action-comedy Karate Ghost with Tim Rozon, Jim Belushi, and Michael Jai White.

Through Dead Mariachi Films, Brian wrote and directed Oldtimers, an award-winning short that screened at over 20 international festivals, including Fantasia and San Sebastián Horror & Fantasy. He produced Last Resort (Gravitas Ventures), We Came to Wreck Everything (Image Killer YouTube channel), and the sci-fi horror short The Fore-men (DUST YouTube Channel) with over 500K views. He also directed and produced the upcoming digital short comedy series The Ropes, about backyard wrestling (Bell Fibe TV1).

Brian’s industry experience includes the BITS Horror Development Lab, WBD Access Showrunner Bootcamp, and LATAFF Filmmakers Lab. A past participant in the Cannes Market Readiness Program, he now supports filmmakers as Outreach Coordinator at Film Market Access, helping them navigate festivals, connect with industry leaders, and grow their careers.
